INTRO TO BIOMIMICRY WORKSHOP Gauteng

Our workshops in Gauteng in 2014 will be run as part of the Innovation Hub's Thought Leaders Academy.

 

The workshops will include Biomimicry101, Life's Principles and Re-Imagining Systems. The first one up is the Introductory Workshop: Biomimicry101 over 11-12 June 2014. The workshop includes an introduction to the thinking, tools and methodology of biomimicry with an opportunity to work on a design challenge in multi-disciplinary groups. It's the first step for anyone on the biomimicry Learning Journey and has important in-person and practical processes that you do not receive from the Foundational Course online.

 

DETAILS:

The workshop runs 11-12 June 2014.

Registration at 8h30 on 11th, starting at 09h00 and ending at 17h00. The 12th June will run from 9h00-16h30.

An outline of the program:

Day 1: Intro to biomimicry thinking and methodology, including practical exercises. An initial look at the biomimicry Life's Principles.

Day 2: Working on design challenges in interdisciplinary teams using the biomimicry thinking techniques and methodologies.
