biomimicrySA in collaboration with Wildlight Safaris is offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of a biomimicry expedition in Botswana’s Okavango Delta – one of the world’s greatest wetlands. This expedition includes special guests Dr John Todd (one of the world’s greatest wetland biomimicry experts and ecological engineer) and Nancy Jack Todd (author of A Safe and Sustainable World: The Promise of Ecological Design).

 

THE EXPEDITION INCLUDES:

  • An exploration of biomimicry in a truly magnificent & unique wilderness
  • An experience of the wonders of an African safari through the lens of biomimicry
  • Biomimicry guided tours on foot and in mokoro (dug out canoe)
  • Special input from Dr John Todd and Nancy Jack Todd – including discussions & fireside talks
  • Biomimicry Professional trainer, Claire Janisch & specialist biomimicry naturalist, Rob Janisch will lead the expedition and share the genius of nature through the biomimicry lens

DATES: 16 – 20 October 2013

Arriving Maun, Botswana on 16th October 2013 (charter flight will connect you to the Okavango Delta and back). Returning to Maun, Botswana on 20th October 2013.
